Carol Laws
Carol Anne Laws was born in Scotland in 1954. Moved to Africa as a toddler,she has various lived in kwa-Zulu Natal,Swaziland and many provinces,towns and cities of South Africa.
Carols' pursuit of art,in all its' forms, began very early in her life.She is largely self taught and has had the good fortune of visiting many of the major galleries in Europe and America. Keen observation of original works by the masters,have been a privilege and an illumination.
Paintings and sculpts are currently displayed in a number of galleries and venues in the Western Cape. In addition,many of her pieces have been sold privately over the years.
The medium used is mainly oil on canvas andthe style electic and experimental but includes realism.
She currently lives in muizenberg village,where she teaches students from her home studion." The Studio"is a thriving,fun hub of creative energy.
